Awarded one of the last pots of European funding from AgorIP

At Oseng-Rees Reflection Ltd, we were fortunate to be awarded one of the last pots of European funding from AgorIP at Swansea University, which enabled us to investigate the best way forward to grow our glass studio and capitalize on the growing trend in the construction industry of reducing carbon footprints and reusing demolition waste. We used the funding to create a new product using construction waste glass, and sent it to Lucideon for material testing. In total, 14 different environmental tests have been conducted at their UKAS accredited testing facility, including frost, impact, bending, staining, chemical release, and weathering tests. We are incredibly thankful to AgorIP, Swansea University, BIC Innovation, and Lucideon for their support and help in growing our business and conducting the material testing.

We are now more equipped than ever to take advantage of the growing trend of reducing carbon footprints and reusing demolition waste in the construction industry.
